Position: Success Coordinator

(All Success Coordinator positions are currently filled.)

We are on the lookout for a Success Coordinator to add to our team of rockstar women making waves in the soap industry.

Throughout their journey, our customers and clients need assistance with a gamut of topics from basic soapmaking chemistry to advanced marketing, mindset, and wealth strategies. They ask for support in our Facebook groups, on our social media pages, through email, and during live events. And that’s exactly where you come in.

Using our established content and style, you’ll help clients find success on their journey by offering personal assistance in a fun and friendly tone.

How You’ll Be Working

You can enjoy working in your sexy yoga pants from your couch with flexible hours that work with your lifestyle, but know that some weeks get a little crazier than others with more hands-on-deck needed. Occasionally, Modern Soapmaking hosts live events that you are 100% expected to attend so that you can dish out the support needed.

You’ll be expected pop in 10 to 20 hours a week, with more hours on the horizon as Modern Soapmaking continues to grow. If you currently own a soap business of your own, we are looking for someone who will prioritize this work and want to move to a full-time position in the future.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

You’ll need your own laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection in order to get the job done. You’ll need to install and use Slack, our internal communication software. You’ll also need to access various web applications and we highly recommend Google Chrome for doing so.

This Position is Right for You if…

You are eager to help other women draw the blueprints for their soapy empires with education, a dose of tough love, zero hand-holding, and a bit of snark. You can do PJs all day, but you get shit done.

You have a passion for soapmaking and are completely comfortable with soapmaking, chemistry, formulating, troubleshooting, and ingredient usage, and could totally rock answering soapy questions.

You are insanely familiar with Modern Soapmaking’s content and products and can make appropriate recommendations for (or answer questions about) content and products on a case-by-case scenario. 

You can kick some serious ass answering emails, interacting on social media, and responding to comments on WordPress in a fun and friendly tone of voice that isn’t afraid to speak honestly. Bonus points for knowing how to use Facebook pages & groups admin controls and WordPress, but it’s teachable!

You are self-motivated, confident, love to solve problems, and are interested in growing with Modern Soapmaking. I need someone who can stand right there with our team with a “get shit done” attitude and doesn’t need to be pushed off a cliff. Taking initiative is a rockstar trait!

You thrive on cubicles, coffee breaks, and constant supervision. Without micromanaging, you tend to be a slacker.

You turn your nose up or panic when you hear profanity. When you disagree with someone, you are afraid to rock the boat or speak up.

You let people treat you like a doormat and take rude ass communication to heart. You often feel attacked or take criticism personally.

You think All Lives Matter or think homosexuality is a sin. Our brand serves soapmakers from all walks of life, you can’t effectively serve people you don’t value.

Position: Marketing Specialist

We are on the lookout for a Marketing Specialist to add to our team of rockstar women making waves in the soap industry.

Our customers and clients are soapmakers turning their passions into profits by starting (and running) successful and sustainable soap businesses. In order to land our goal of helping a million soapmakers make magic, we need your help to find them, bring them into the fold, and help them find success.

How will you do that? That depends, rockstar, what are you capable of?

How You’ll Be Working

At Modern Soapmaking, we use WordPress, WooCommerce, Learn Dash, Elementor, Active Campaign, Later, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Metorik as well as other software and services.

This Position is Right for You if…

You are eager to help other women draw the blueprints for their soapy empires with education, a dose of tough love, zero hand-holding, and a bit of snark. You can do PJs all day, but you get shit done.

You are insanely familiar with Modern Soapmaking’s content and products and can think of at least five different ways we could improve our marketing right this second. 

You can kick some serious ass in setting goals, evaluating KPIs, developing a plan, and getting shit done to make the money magic happen.

You are self-motivated, confident, love to solve problems, and are interested in growing with Modern Soapmaking. I need someone who can self-start and doesn’t need someone to tell them when to show up or leave.
