Do you want to find a way to give back to your community by using your own products as the vehicle for change?
Studies show that consumers are becoming more aware of socially responsible businesses and value companies who give back higher than companies who do not.
For instance, in Edelman’s goodpurpose Study in 2012, it was shown that 76% of global consumers believe it is no longer enough for corporations to give to charity, that they must integrate good causes into their every day business practices.
Doing good isn’t just good for business, it’s good for you, too!
Giving back to the community around you builds relationships, and grows your network of people who are making a difference in the world. These relationships can open up new doors and give you access to wonderful opportunities to make a bigger change.
Most of all, responsible business just feels good. It’s an amazing feeling to read letters from those you have helped, to see a difference in your community created by your intentional action, and watch as lives change due to your efforts.
The world can be a better place because of those who have the courage to try and make a difference, no matter how big or small!
Be the change you want to see.
Or maybe you’ve always wanted a soap company to call your very own?
From formulating products to creating a stellar product line, starting a new soap company can be a huge challenge. There’s formulating, branding, product photography, wholesale and marketing materials, and more.
It can be crazy expensive to outsource all of the work you can’t do yourself, and it can be ridiculously stressful to get everything lined up the way you want it.
Maybe you just want to add a product line to your existing company, and are finding the amount of work ahead of you paralyzing…
What if someone did all that work for you?
This is your opportunity to jump in and take the driver’s seat…
I wanted to create a brand that would inspire people to be proud of themselves for who they are, while also giving back to the community.
Since then, Gratitude Soapery has donated over 1,200 bars of soap to local Kansas City missions, shelters, and non-profit organizations. Plus, I’ve hosted a handful of free workshops for low-income women to teach them basic soapmaking and how to create home cleaning products from cheap household items and food products (like lemon juice, baking soda, etc.)
Gratitude Soapery’s products make fantastic gifts due to their positive messaging, and serve as a reminder to find happiness in day to day life.
But now, it’s time to pass the torch.
Modern Soapmaking is growing, and Gratitude Soapery belongs in the hands of someone who can give it the light and direction it needs! Instead of selling Gratitude Soapery, I want to pass it on. It’s time to Give Gratitude, because without any of you, it wouldn’t exist in the first place.
Are you the right fit?
- Have soapmaking experience or are interested in learning
- Have a passion for making a difference in the world
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit
- Have at least 20 hours a week to dedicate to operating a small business (if you don’t already do so!)
Checkity, check, check? Awesome!
Submissions are now closed. I’m digging through applications to pick the finalists! Stay tuned!
What, what? Let’s get this straight…
Yes, I said pass it on. 🙂 The goal of Gratitude Soapery was to give back and make a difference, and it’s time Gratitude Soapery does so in a big way: by allowing someone to follow their dreams without all the early out of pocket expenses of branding, custom boxes, formulating, and more.
I’ll narrow down all the applications to five lucky finalists. Those five finalists will score a free subscription to the upcoming All Access Pass!, which opens up the ability to download all Modern Soapmaking’s ebooks, take a seat in Modern Soapmaking’s courses and webinars, participate in private events and activities, and check out exclusive content only for All Access Pass! subscribers.
And how will the amazing new owner of Gratitude Soapery be chosen? I’ll send over the applications of the five finalists to an awesome panel of advisors. Together, we’ll narrow it down to one fabulous rockstar to take over Gratitude Soapery. Come meet the Give Gratitude Advisors to see who will be helping me out >>
So, what does the fab new owner of Gratitude Soapery get?
If that lucky star chosen by these awesome peeps turns out to be you, you’ll receive every piece of Gratitude Soapery: it’s logo, product photographs, formulas, custom soap stamps, custom soap boxes, domain name + website content, wholesale materials, and more. Plus, I’ll be helping you out as you take over by providing free business mentoring and coaching, with 10 hours of coaching in the first month and another hour every month for the next six months.
Oh, and you know how I mentioned I have website content for you to take and run with? It’s pretty plain Jane… but the talented Jennifer over at Eco-Office Gals has graciously offered a gigantic discount to the new Gratitude Soapery owner to get their new website looking super smooth! How big of a discount? How about $400 off your choice of a Silver, Gold, or The Works package? Yeah, pretty sexy.
