I love to get together with other sudsy superstars and talk soap & business. Throughout the year, I’ll be popping in and/or setting up various events and workshops to tackle my favorite soapy subjects & business busting know-how. I hope to see you there!
Throughout the remainder of 2016, I’ll be staying home and hosting local workshops and classes in my Phoenix, Arizona studio.
For class availability and registration, please visit the Live Events category.

WHEN: May 1, 2, & 3, 2017
WHERE: Las Vegas, Nevada
WHAT’S UP: The annual Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetics Guild conference is the largest gathering of soapmakers in the country, with tons of great session topics and lots of other soapmakers, suppliers, & teachers to network with!
MY PART: I’ll be rocking out a session about secrets to success at the helm of a soap company, where we’ll do a little reality check on what it takes to create a sustainable and profitable soap company. If you are thinking about starting a business or have already dived in, I hope you’ll join me to see all the ways you can take ten steps forward in your business straight away!
Modern Soapmaking will also be taking a seat in the Exhibitor Hall, so stop by and introduce yourself & snag your favorite ebooks, workbooks, & other goodies in person. Word on the street is that Kenna will also debut her first hard copy print book, so be the first to get your hands on a copy! 😉
I’ve spoken/taught across the country, from the west coast to the east coast! Here’s just a handful of my recent travels:
- SOAPCAMP at Handmade Soap Coach Studio (Guest Teacher – 2015)
- Back to Biz Bootcamp (Teacher – 2015)
- Florida Soapcrafter’s Gathering (Speaker – 2015)
- The Nova Studio (Guest Teacher – 2015)
- Central Soapers Workshop (Organizer & Speaker – 2013, 2014, 2015)
- The Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetics Guild Conference (Speaker – 2014)
- Alabama Soap & Candle Association Meeting (Speaker – 2014, 2016)
Want to Get with Me?
I love walking the walk and talking the talk, even if travelling is a wee-bit on my personal challenge list (oh, yes, airports are among my most hated things.)
If you are organizing a soapy round-up or workshop, I’d love to come hang out. Get in touch and we’ll discuss the deets!
